Eco-Friendly Pest Control in Adelaide

If you want your home pest-free without dousing it in chemicals, you're exactly who I built this approach for. I'm Werner — a local, owner-run pest technician based in St Agnes — and everything I do is prevention-first, family-safe, pet-safe and bee-friendly. That's not a marketing line; it's how I genuinely work, and it's better for your household, your garden and the local environment.

What "eco-friendly pest control" actually means here

  • Prevention before chemicals. I'd rather seal a home out and remove what's attracting pests than blast the inside with spray. Less chemical, longer-lasting result.

  • Outside-in, not inside-out. Most treatment happens on the exterior — the PestShield barrier — so your living spaces stay chemical-light.

  • Targeted, not blanket. I treat nests, trails and entry points specifically, rather than fogging whole rooms.

  • Wildlife-safer options. My wildlife-safer rodent treatment is dramatically safer around pets and native animals than standard baits.

Family-safe and pet-safe by default

Every product I use is chosen with kids, dogs, cats and all pets in mind, and I'll always walk you through what's being applied and where. Prevention-first naturally means less exposure for the people and animals you care about. I never spray on eatables.

Bee-friendly — relocation is always my first, second and third choice.

I'm a registered swarm collector with the Beekeepers Society of SA, and last season I relocated an estimated 375,000 bees rather than killing them. Bees are too important to spray, so swarms get relocated and homes get proofed so bees don't move back in. Bee Rescue Mission

Eco-friendly pest control FAQs

Is eco-friendly pest control as effective?

Yes — often more so. Prevention-first and proofing solve the cause, not just the symptom, so the result lasts longer.

Is it really safe around my children and pets?

Yes — that's the whole point of the approach. Outdoor-focused, targeted, and walked through with you.

Do you use any chemicals at all?

Where needed, yes — but minimally, targeted, and family-safe. The goal is the least chemical that solves the problem properly.

Will you harm bees or my garden?

No — bees are relocated, not killed, and treatments are applied with pollinators and gardens in mind.

Do you kill the bees or relocate them?

Relocation is always my first choice. I'm a registered BSSA swarm collector and work with local beekeepers to rehome swarms and hives alive. Bees are essential pollinators — protecting your home shouldn't mean killing them.

Google Reviews

I am a beekeeper in Tea Tree Gully and Werner regularly drops swarms of bees off at my house. The only reason he does this is to save the bees. It would be much easier for him to exterminate the bees rather than catching them and then bringing around to my home.
