House Care Pest Control is a local, owner-run business based in St Agnes — not a big franchise with a call centre. After years of doing the hands-on work myself, I'm gradually looking to bring on the right person to help with the prevention side of things: the proofing, sealing, trimming, solar and exterior work that keeps Adelaide homes protected. It's purposeful work — all of it about stopping pests before they start.
I'm not rushing this. I'm more interested in finding the right person than filling a spot quickly. Full training will be provided — everything we do can be taught. What I really care about is someone who's reliable, honest, takes genuine pride in their work, and treats people's homes (and the wildlife around them, bees included) with respect.
It would suit a hardworking local who enjoys hands-on, varied, outdoor work rather than being stuck behind a desk. Any handyman or carpentry interest is a nice bonus, but it's not essential — the right attitude matters more than experience.
