Found a bee swarm? Act quickly
Bee swarms often stop temporarily while scout bees search for a new nesting location. At this stage, the bees are usually calm and exposed, making relocation fast, safe and highly successful.
This is the best time to call. Early action allows us to safely collect the swarm and relocate it to a local beekeeper without harm.
Please do not spray or disturb the bees. Spraying can kill the colony, increase aggression and make safe relocation impossible.
When bees move into your home
If bees settle inside a roof, wall or structure, removal becomes more complex.
When accessible, such as under roof tiles or in open cavities, we can still safely relocate the colony. However, if the hive is deep inside wall voids, access may require opening the gyprock or building materials.
Acting early helps avoid structural work and reduces overall costs.
When relocation is not possible due to safety or access limitations, treatment may be required as a last resort to protect the home and occupants.
Hive removal and prevention
Removing the bees alone is not always enough. Honeycomb, wax and scent can attract new colonies to the same location.
