Bee swarms often pause to rest while scout bees search for a suitable new nesting spot nearby. When clients reach out at this stage, we can safely relocate them to a beekeeper, ensuring a humane and eco-friendly solution.
This is the optimal time for removal, as the swarm is still accessible and hasn’t settled into a structure, making relocation faster, safer, and more effective.
If bees settle in your walls or roof, the situation becomes more complex. When they are accessible, such as under roof tiles, we can still safely relocate them. However, if they nest in wall voids, removal may no longer be possible unless the gyprock is opened.
We recommend acting quickly to avoid more costly solutions. In cases where relocation isn’t possible, our last resort is treatment to ensure the safety of your home.
