🐀 Rodents (Rats & Mice) 🐁 From $180

Understanding Rodents: Smart, Social, but Poor Eyesight

Did you know that rodents have an exceptionally strong sense of smell, excellent communication skills, but poor eyesight?

When tackling rodent infestations, we start by carefully listening to our clients, gathering key details such as noises, hotspots, and sightings. From there, we conduct a thorough property inspection, ensuring:

✔ Precise bait station placement for maximum effectiveness

✔ Identification of entry points to stop rodents from coming back

✔ Expert prevention tips to safeguard your home long-term

Rodent gnaw marks on water pipe

Rodents Can Cause Floods & Fires – Here’s Why

Unchecked rodent infestations can lead to serious home damage, including flooding and fire hazards. Rodents have incredibly strong teeth that grow about 0.3mm every day, requiring them to constantly gnaw to keep them in check.

✔ They chew through wood, water pipes, plastic, gyprock, and even electrical wiring.

✔ Damaged pipes can lead to flooding, causing costly water damage.

✔ Gnawed electrical wires pose a major fire risk, increasing the chance of short circuits.

Based on evidence like droppings, nests, rub marks, and gnaw marks, we strategically place bait stations to effectively target the infestation while using minimal chemicals.

After treatment, rodents may become more active and even fight over the bait, but this behavior typically settles within a few days as the treatment takes effect. Proper bait placement ensures maximum efficiency, leading to a successful and long-lasting rodent solution.

Our bait is a single-feed solution with a delayed effect, preventing rodents from associating it with their demise. Depending on consumption levels, it can take 1 to 3 weeks to completely eliminate the colony. However, the presence of alternative food sources may slow this process.

The bait also induces thirst, prompting rodents to leave in search of water, which helps minimize carcass presence indoors. Out of our last 250 jobs, we received only 15 calls for dead animal removal, demonstrating the effectiveness and discreet action of our treatment.

Our primary goal is not just to eliminate the current infestation but also to prevent future rodent issues in roof and wall voids while reducing wandering rodents on your property. Our treatment comes with a 6-month warranty, ensuring long-term effectiveness.

For a long-lasting and environmentally friendly solution, we offer proofing services, though it can be challenging since rodents can squeeze through gaps as small as 1.3 cm. This treatment is pet and child safe, and we take extra care to place bait stations in hidden, out-of-reach areas.

Did you know that just two rats can multiply into 2,000 individuals in a single year? Rats reproduce rapidly, with females having 5 to 10 litters per year, each containing 6 to 12 babies. In just 5 weeks, a female can have her first litter, and by 10 weeks, her offspring are already reproducing, leading to exponential population growth.

Prevention is key, and our PestShield Program is the best long-term solution for wildlife-friendly pest control. By addressing infestations before numbers spiral out of control, PestShield covers rodents and 39 other pests, backed by a 1-year warranty for total peace of mind.

If pests return or persist, so do we.

🕷️ Spiders 🕸️ From $175

When you clean cobwebs around your house, they often reappear within a day or so. This happens because the webs on facades are typically just feeding webs—spiders prefer to reside in the safety of walls and roofs, where they are more protected.

While bites from Redback, Funnel-Web, and White-Tailed spiders are rarely fatal, they can be painful and may still require medical attention or antivenom.

Interesting Facts About Adelaide Spiders:

✔ Redback Spiders – Highly venomous, though rarely fatal. The females pose the greatest risk, as they are larger and more likely to bite. Amazingly, they can survive without food for up to 100 days.

✔ White-Tailed Spiders – The myth about necrosis has been debunked. These spiders don’t build webs but instead hunt other spiders and are commonly found indoors.

✔ Funnel-Web Spiders – Particularly dangerous, especially the Sydney variety, with fangs strong enough to pierce fingernails. Male Funnel-Webs have more toxic venom than females and tend to be more aggressive.

Understanding spider behavior is key to effective spider control. Regular facade cleaning and targeted treatments help keep their populations in check and prevent them from invading your home.

Our Spider Treatment includes a comprehensive approach to effectively reduce spider activity in and around your home:

✔ Inside Spray – Covers skirting boards, ceilings, light fixtures, and fans to eliminate spiders indoors.

✔ Outside Spray – Targets eaves, gutters, verandahs, garages, and extends one meter on walls around doors and windows.

✔ Roof & Walls Dusting – Ensures thorough coverage in common spider hiding spots.

✔ Shed, Fences & Mailbox Spray – Provides complete exterior protection to prevent reinfestation.

This service comes with a 6-month indoor warranty and a 3-month outdoor warranty, ensuring long-lasting results.

For next-level spider control, our PestShield Program goes even further:

✔ Full-wall coverage with an intensive spray for extended protection.

✔ Treatment of trees and bushes to reduce spider populations in outdoor areas.

✔ Exclusive Perimeter & Deck Soaking Barrier for an extra layer of defense.

✔ 6-month return visit, providing a year-round warranty for complete peace of mind.

To further minimize spider activity, we recommend reducing outdoor lighting at night, as bright lights attract bugs that spiders prey on. Opting for warmer-colored lights can also help make your home less enticing to these pests.

🐜 Ants 👑 From $165

Our ant treatment goes beyond simply reducing numbers—we focus on eliminating the entire colony by targeting the queen.

Unlike traditional treatments that only control visible ants temporarily, our approach disrupts the colony at its core, preventing reinfestation and ensuring long-term results. By addressing the root of the problem, we provide effective and lasting ant control for your home or business.

By eliminating the queen, we break the reproduction cycle, ensuring long-term results and keeping your home truly ant-free. One of our clients shared how crucial this was for keeping ants out of their dog’s food—no more wasted meals or constant ant trails near the pet bowl!

And remember, if they return, so do we! Our guaranteed service means you can enjoy a pest-free home with total peace of mind.

🕊️ Pigeons 🐦 From $95

Pigeons under solar panel

Did you know that pigeons nesting under your solar panels aren’t just noisy—they can cause serious damage? Their nesting materials have been known to start fires, and pigeons—often called “flying rats”—can spread diseases and carry bird mites, posing health risks to your household.

Many clients have had their solar panels proofed, only to find pigeons still wreaking havoc. After years of continuous development, we’ve designed a complete, humane solution that keeps pigeons away for good, ensuring long-lasting protection for your home and solar investment.

Through our research, we discovered that pigeons use their sense of smell to navigate back to their nests. That’s why we don’t just remove nests and install proofing—we take it a step further.

We professionally clean both under and on top of your solar panels, ensuring everything is spotless before installing a durable proofing mesh that guarantees results. This thorough approach prevents pigeons from returning and protects your solar panels from damage, droppings, and nesting debris.

And the best part? Our solution comes with a 10-year warranty, providing long-term peace of mind and lasting protection for your home.

No bird culling necessary—just a smart, eco-friendly solution that protects your home and solar investment. By keeping pigeons away, you’re also reducing the risk of rat infestations, as rodents often prey on nestlings, eggs, and sick birds.

It’s also common for us to identify bird mites when addressing pigeon infestations under solar panels. These tiny parasites can spread quickly and become a major nuisance, making proper cleaning and proofing essential.

As a PestShield client, you’ll enjoy a massive 20% discount on all additional services, ensuring affordable, year-round protection for your home.

If pests return or persist, so do we.

🐝 Bees 🍯 From $200

Bee swarms often pause to rest while scout bees search for a suitable new nesting spot nearby. When clients reach out at this stage, we can safely relocate them to a beekeeper, ensuring a humane and eco-friendly solution.

This is the optimal time for removal, as the swarm is still accessible and hasn’t settled into a structure, making relocation faster, safer, and more effective.

If bees settle in your walls or roof, the situation becomes more complex. When they are accessible, such as under roof tiles, we can still safely relocate them. However, if they nest in wall voids, removal may no longer be possible unless the gyprock is opened.

We recommend acting quickly to avoid more costly solutions. In cases where relocation isn’t possible, our last resort is treatment to ensure the safety of your home.

Beyond relocation, we also offer hive cleanup, as removing the hive and honey makes your property less attractive to future bee colonies. Additionally, our bee-proofing services help prevent recurring infestations.

Our PestShield Program provides year-round protection, covering bees and 39 other pests, backed by a 1-year warranty for total peace of mind.
